FAQ

Is there need for a new organization? How is ImpactHope different from other aid and development organizations?

The founders of ImpactHope have decades of collective experience in humanitarian aid and development. They know the field well. The aid and development models conceived a generation ago do not always correspond to current realities. The results of many excellent programs often remain confined to a particular region or country, when the momentum and fruit of these projects could be used to catalyze, augment and magnify the effects of other initiatives globally. This is a mandate for a new approach: for development, done differently.

Is ImpactHope a Catholic organization?

The founders of the organization openly declare their Christian faith and their fidelity to the Church. Their intention however, is not to exclude, but to unify. Creating an opposition between evangelization and humanitarian development is in our view nonsensical. We believe that the Gospel is the first and best means of promoting a just society in the service of all, and that Christian communities are potential sources of growth and freedom for all, Christian and non- Christians.

In which countries does ImpactHope operate? What informs your priorities?

The Foundation’s initial projects are in the Sudan, the Central African Republic, Peru, China and the Ukraine. We focus resources wherever Christian communities suffer particularly difficult circumstances, wherever they need to be rebuilt, wherever Christians suffer persecution and discrimination.

Who are your donors?

You are! ImpactHope does not receive any government aid. We do not ask for alms, but for your investment. By supporting development projects, the Foundation promotes your values. Our donors are closely associated with the activities of the Foundation. Our projects are your projects.

What is the purpose of the link “On the Ground†in this website’s sidebar?
